Cross Country Training

I started my summer running program last week and today I had my first workout. That got me thinking….what if I were to post my workout each day online? It might inspire someone to start running and it’ll give me an accountability system of sorts. So here it is:

Monday ~ 5.5 mile run @ 8 minute miles
Tuesday: coached club track team: 100m 11.8 seconds, 11.4 seconds, 200, 25 seconds, form drills

Wednesday, 4.5 mile run at 7:49 pace

Thursday: WORKOUT!!!!!

8 400s @ 80 seconds per 400

My Times:

Under pace! BOOM!!!

Tomorrow I’ll probably do some easy recovery distance (no more than 3 miles) and some core.

P.S. if anyone wants me to draw them up a running schedule, leave a comment. I’ve been running for almost 8 years and I’ve helped people with this before! 🙂
